| Culture and art go hand in hand I'm afraid, comrades. Without the Western ethos of youthful aggression against anything and everything what kind of world would we live in? A Nazi wasteland. I'll tell you now that I'd rather live in a corrupt dictatorship than the futile existance we are currently justifying.
We are so quick to point out the hypocrisy in other religions, faiths, political standings and peoples but we turn a blind eye to our own. We go to school, we learn lies and turn them into political ideals. Join-the-dots politics and adolescent aggression raise some interesting questions about reality. But I have come to the ridiculously clichéd conclusion that resistance is futile. Revolutions do not work unless a higher power wants it to. Where there is a 3-way majority vote that needs to be split, a demonstaration is allowed to happen in the city streets. Or maybe it is the same power which organises it. Where a world leader angers the Secret World Government, a regime change is executed. Where a puppet needs to be elected in order to make freedom profitable, an election is held where all the candidates are puppets, giving the illusion of free will, free speech.
So what can we do? Resist? Argue? Preach? Convert? None of this will save us. You'll get no more from me. I give up. I have seen the future and I have seen too much. Punk is dead...or was it ever living? Is it just another lie in the history books? Another vain hope of sustinance? Another romantic whim on the carcass of conformity?
From now on the International Voice Conspiracy is defunct. I suppose it's impending collapse was inevitable as it relied entirely on my viewpoint. And my viewpoint is "fuck 'em all". I can't change anything, my theories will not prove anything and we all live to lie another day. I don't even care and that's what is most surprising. I won't protest, I won't pretend someone cares, I won't become a martyr for false ideals. I just want to sit by the window and watch as the world is slowly destroyed. I just want to relax into despair and pray for all humanity. I wish the world would end tomorrow. Capitalism may be organised crime, but blind faith, unjustified hate and regression into primitive schemas are equally idiotic. This is the final communiqué. Won't you forget about me when I'm gone?

| Does anyone feel like making a trip to London (sept 4th) to see Thursday?
They're also playing Manchester Uni in October if anyone's interested. I'll be there, screaming like bitch (or at least until I lose my voice....again).

| Our generation is a disgrace. The one achievement we have to be proud of is that we found a use for Art. We used guitars as weapons. Revolutionary words crafted into poems. Manifestoes put to music. A deadly rhythm restoring cleanliness and the melody of rage keeping fists in the air while justice is screaming from the rafters. The target audience becomes everyone rather than a select few from each age group. This was the beginning of the end of the ultimate corruption; culture.
And yet all we have proved is that you can neither kill the dream nor the dreamer. As long as there is an audience the artists are as much alive as the listener. The greatest idiocy is our tendency to sit and watch as the world is slowly destroyed.
Every member of this Symposium has a task this week. Make a crucifist and perforate the system. Destroy something corporate. If not for yourselves then for your children.
